At Homestead Puppies, we raise four much-loved oodle breeds — Cavoodles, Moodles, Spoodles, and Poochons — with a commitment to ethical breeding, outstanding health care, and exceptional early socialisation. Every puppy is nurtured in a loving family setting, with the goal of helping them grow into calm, confident companions.
DNA Health Testing & Responsible Breeding
All of our breeding dogs undergo Orivet DNA testing to screen for breed-specific genetic conditions. We only select pairings that ensure puppies will not be affected by inherited diseases, giving you peace of mind and giving our puppies the healthiest start to life.
We specialise in first-generation (F1) oodle puppies, produced by pairing two purebred parents. This F1 combination promotes hybrid vigour, which often leads to a genetically healthier puppy with no predisposed hereditary conditions from either parent breed. At Homestead Puppies, we never breed from crossbred dogs and do not retain offspring for future breeding, ensuring each litter maintains optimal genetic integrity and adheres to the highest ethical breeding standards. This commitment to responsible breeding and genetic health is what allows us to confidently offer a comprehensive three-year health warranty with every puppy.
Vet-Certified Health Monitoring
- Veterinary clearance certificates are obtained before and after each litter
- Each breeding dog receives an annual comprehensive veterinary check-up
All dogs and puppies are monitored carefully during pregnancy, birth, and postnatal recovery. Our beautiful Mumma’s have only four litters and then are de-sexed and lovingly re-homed to retired people.

Three-Year Genetic Health Warranty
As a Victorian Government–licensed breeder, we proudly provide every puppy with a comprehensive three-year genetic health guarantee. This warranty ensures that our responsibility and liability continue well beyond pick-up, giving you peace of mind knowing we remain financially accountable for your puppy’s genetic health throughout their first three years of life. This level of protection is only offered by breeders who hold Victorian Government licensing, ensuring the highest standards of care and accountability.
Vaccination, Flea & Worming Schedule
- Vaccinations: First C3 vaccination at 6 weeks of age.
- Worming: Administered every two weeks from 2 to 10 weeks of age.
- Flea prevention: Applied prior to leaving for their forever home.
- A detailed health and treatment record booklet is provided with each puppy.
- All treatments are vet-approved and recorded for your reference.
Socialisation, Desensitisation & Puppy Yoga
We go far beyond standard puppy raising. At Homestead Puppies, your puppy is part of a structured enrichment and socialisation program designed to build confidence, resilience, and emotional stability.
- Daily human interaction from birth, including exposure to children and visiting guests
- Familiarisation with common household sounds and varied surfaces to build comfort and curiosity
- Foundations in crate and toilet training
- Early sensory stimulation with toys, music, textures, and gentle exploration
- Exposure to outdoor noises such as power tools, lawnmowers, and general garden activity
Our puppies actively participate in our Puppy Yoga Melbourne classes from 6–10 weeks of age! This special experience allows them to.
- Safely interact with new people, scents, and environments.
- Learn calm behaviour in group settings.
- Take part in short car trips, which build confidence and help prevent travel anxiety.

6 Months of Prepaid Pet Insurance
To give you extra peace of mind, your puppy will go home with Knose Pet Insurance already in place. We apply for coverage early, so your puppy will have completed their waiting period while still in our care — meaning they’re fully covered from day one with you.
Your first 6 months of insurance is prepaid by us. When your puppy goes home, we’ll simply transfer the policy into your name. All you need to do is accept the transfer if you choose to continue the cover — no paperwork, no hassle.
